Day 01, Cochin – Munnar (127 Km):

Location: Cochin International Airport, Munnar

Accommodation: Hotel

Meals Included: No Meals

Seven wonder tour & travels welcomes you to enjoy vacation in God’s own country. Upon arrival at cochin airport, will receive a warm welcome from our representative, will take you to Munnar. It will take you approx four hours to reach Munnar. On your arrival, check-in at hotel and spend rest day as leisure. Later evening, enjoy dinner overnight at hotel. 

Day 2 : Munnar Sightseeing:

Location: Munnar Hill Station

Accommodation: Hotel

Meals Included: Breakfast

Today after breakfast, visit Mattupetty Dam and other attractions of Munnar. In the afternoon, enjoy lunch & then visit Shola Forests around Mattupetty. In the evening, you will explore Echo point and tea gardens. Later enjoy dinner, overnight at hotel.

Day 3 : Munnar – Thekkady (92 Km):

Location: Thekkady

Accommodation: Hotel

Meals Included: Breakfast

On the third day of your tour, you will move to Thekkady. The distance between two places is 89 kms it takes two hours approx. Thekkady is famous for its wildlife sanctuary, hill station & spice plantation. Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel fresh up, and then go for a wildlife cruise at Periyar Lake. Here at Periyar Lake, you will spot Elephants, Tigers, Langurs, Sambars, Reers, Wild Bison, Wild Bear, Leopards. In the evening, explore the local market to experience the handicrafts of Kerala. Later enjoy dinner, overnight at hotel.

Day 4 : Thekkady – Kumarakom (123 Km):

Location: Kumarakom

Accommodation: Hotel

Meals Included: Breakfast

After breakfast, move towards to Kumarakom. Kumarakom is near about 121 km from thekkady which takes 3 hours approx. Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel & visit Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary. In the evening, explore a backwaters cruise in VembaNadu Lake. Later enjoy dinner, overnight at hotel.

Day 5 : Kumarakom- Alleppey (33 Km):

Location: Alappuzha

Accommodation: Hotel, HOUSEBOAT

Meals Included: Breakfast

Enjoy breakfast in the morning then go for a stay in Houseboat. Enjoy your stay at the houseboat which is one of the unique experiences of Kerala. enjoy the backwaters of Kerala & witness paddy fields and coconut palms. Later evening, enjoy dinner overnight at the houseboat.

Day 6 : Alleppey – Cochin (54 Km):

Location: Cochin International Airport

This was something I was looking forward to and definitely one of the highlights of my trip to Kerala. If you enjoy being in nature and looking at wildlife, this is a simple trek if you have decent stamina. I never expect to spot wildlife in tropical/evergreen forests in Asia, so it was a bonus to see a few; langurs, giant squirrels, heaps of birds, Indian gaur, wild boars, and mongoose. We were tracking a herd of gaur and the rangers were very knowledgeable and skillful with tracking them - seeing the herd in the middle of the forest was such a treat! Couldn't have asked for better guides and rangers for this trip. There are some things that other visitors have already pointed out so please take note: - Packed lunch is provided (chappati, vegetable curry, rice, fruits) including water in a small backpack. You can use backpack or transfer the items to your own bag. Bring utensils if you need them, if not, expect to eat with your own hands. The food was more than enough for me, but if you prefer your own, bring your own food. - Bring extra water at least 1L - Wear long trousers. There are heaps of leeches (worse during and after rainy season), so use the leech socks the rangers provide - Bring a hat/cap. It got very hot on the bamboo raft so shade will be useful

Our tour agent, Abhinav, was excellent in planning our trip. he organized all the hotels and transfers. She also organized all the sightseeing tours. We had an excellent trip!!! How lucky we were to meet this person : - Excellent driver to drive on the indian roads full of surprises - Very kind and always , quiet , and friendly -Always very attentive to request of expectations of his 4 passengers. - Has a very good sense of humour - Speak a very good English which is very important for communication.
